The blue sky contrasted against the rich yellow gold of the beech trees was something I was very keen to capture, unfortunately I couldnt make that work in just one exposure, so I had t do a blend with some rather complex masking. Hopefuly I pulled it off? Critique wecome.

I find shots like this difficult, too. What you did, works for me. The sky is a little too soft maybe, but the colors of the tree look real.

Of course, the colors are amazing, but what really stands out here to me is the textures, or how should I put it... the organisation and flow of details (that's much worse). It just seems that both the trees and the water are fluffy, but in their own separate ways. They compliment each other perfectly.

(I disagree with the person who said he'd crop the top off. Those fractalish branches are part of its charm.)
