Although it has rained everyday for the last 20 days we did have a 24 hour spell of beautiful weather, which I spent camping at Tavy Cleave. I actually went on the trip to retake a composition I had found in bad weather, but when I found the heather further up the cleave that evening I resulved to get up and hike there in the morning where hopefully the rising sun would light the scene.
Shooting the heather with a rising sun will no doubt reduce Steve to tears, but he will have to get over it.
