If I had painted the sky myself I dont think I could have done better. It was a real stroke of luck that the clouds had more or less the same vanishing point as the stone row. Obviously the composition doesnt exactly break newe ground but I am very pleased with the shot mostly because I was the first (only) one who got there in the morning!
I shot a variety of compositions moving closer as I went. I left the snow largely unspoilt for the next person, something I wish others would do for me!
