This was the first shot I thought of when it started snowing whilst I was up the brook. I actually stood for half an hour here as the snow settled. I fired off a few frames when the snow got a bit lighter, then slipped and ruined the foreground . Still, I got the shot I was after. If you are wonderfing why the unusual crop, both the left and right had rather large black shapes which in my opinion ruined the atmosphere.
Breathtaking. I love that you gave it a longer exposure to make the water look surreal and very soft. It is fitting for the snowscape surrounding the water
