Reinebringen Sunsetby ~Alex37

One of the highlights of the trip to Lofoten was camping overnight on the ridge of Reinebringen. With 400m drops either side of our tent it wasn’t a pitch for the feint of heart but it was an incredibly exciting experience. In the evening we made our way further up the ridge to this fantastic view of Reine and the surrounding peaks.

Just fantastic. I'll be there too in June and really looking forward to that trip

Hoping for some nice weather as well. How long and when exactly have you been there? Did you have nice weather most of the time?

Just two weeks last summer (14th - 25th August). We had perfect weather almost every day (9 days of sunshine, 1 cloudy and 1 rain) but that is very unusual and it is more likely that you would get a mixed bag of weather.

Yeah, I´m expecting to get mixed weather. 9 sunny days would be fantastic, but I think it wouldn´t be normal in June as well.

yeah, besides its the transient conditions that produce the best light. It was obviously fantastic to have blue skies whilst we were there, it made it the best holiday it could have been, but purely from a photography perspective it would have been nice to have a greater variety of light (but I'm not complaining!)
