On my way up to Hermandalstinden I noticed that the entire northern coast was covered in mist and drifting between the fjords in the distance. Although at the time I thought this must be a fairly unique event this turned out to be a regular occurrence during our stay. Whenever the skies were clear and the winds calm the mist would form which added an excellent additional element to the landscape. This shot was taken just as the sun was setting. It's a shame that I didn’t reach the top of Hermandalstinden a little sooner when the mist would have been sunlit, but this more subtle image is a nice alternative!
