I know that some of you would complain that I have posted to many mist images, but I like them so you can get sick of them :P

One great thing about these mornings is, after the initial effort of getting up and getting to the location, the sense of quietness and calm really is refreshing. I dont use the time to reflect or anything like that, but its nice to sit in silence from time to time.

The processing on this one envolved darkening the sky by 1 1/2 stops and a reasonable amount of saturation although all the colours are the same, just a little richer.

With all the photos of rainforests, deserts and icecaps i see, i forget that the english countryside can be just as spectacular!

the placement of that little church looks exactly like the one in my village in Suffolk! :)

Great job!

Hey, it's autumn. Go on with your mist pictures, they are amazing. It's wonderful how the mist lies over the land like a blanket. great.

to sit in silence, breathing the fresh air. to look and not observe. no thoughts about anything, only enjoying the moment. being you and only you. i love this moments.

Great shot, love these misty shots. Any tips on how to darken skies in PS?

Well if its with a single exposure and none of the hightlights are blown to white then I would use a curves adjustment layer with a mask. Otherwise I would blend in a darker exposure
