Grasmere from Heron Pike by Alex37 Grasmere from Heron Pike by Alex37
I had a team building excercise with Airbus this week from Monday to Thursday up in the Lake District. I headed up early to do some photography up there and had an absolutely wonderful time.

The Lake District is just incredibly beautiful.

This was a 700m climb before sunrise, but well worth the effort.

I don't do well at team building Alex. I generally ruin everyones confidence instead. i would have hidden away in the hills for the duration....Or just drowned myself in one of those beautiful lakes....
Fantastic colours and light and a brilliant effort but I'm not a fan of the foreground it's very seperate from the rest of the design, giving this a 'split personality'.

yeah I can kind of see what you mean there, the relationship between foreground and background is perhaps a little weak, although I do like the contrast fo the two. Thanks Jake

You're giving me some really great ideas for our trip over there in Feb. and the best part is the sun rises fairly late. :D

Well I hope you enjoy it. My main tip would be to try to stay in one area, and make the most of that area :)

The lightning settings and the contrast are simply amazing!
The atmosphere is simply incredible in your photos, which enhance the vivid colors of the landscape.
I'm amazed by your beautiful gallery, probably the most beautiful landscapes photos available on DeviantART! Congratulations!
Keep well!~☺♥
