For example. Crop off the top 10-20% to leave only the parts of the photo from the bottom horizontal branch downwards. You get a clearly dominent subject (the river), the colour contrast appears deeper, the foreground pops more and the single branch has more impact. In my opinion. But on the other hand, the partial trunk then becomes a little more unnatural looking.

Could you leave comments on the shots that you think look unrealistic?

Ok ok just kidding. I should clarify that - by unrealistic, I don't mean unpleasant. I love blends(layering) and hdr but those shots seem to come from a different planet than the one I live on. This looked more natural. But sure, I'll leave a couple of comments so you see what I mean.
