I suspect this shot will be copied by some other photographers, particularly if I say where it is, so I wont. Steve Sellman knows where it is, he was with me when I spotted this tree and he plans to shoot it too, which is fine, he's crap anyway

It was so cold that when I got to the destination and went to get a drink, I realised I couldnt because the water had frozen. Go me

This brings together a lot of the elements I would want in a shot of Dartmoor

Looks very crisp out! Bravo to you for braving the frigid weather. I couldn't make myself do it when I was in my hometown last week and the temps were around -20 degrees Fahrenheit. I stayed inside wrapped in about 5 blankets wondering why I say I miss having four seasons.

Poor Sellman... You're so rough on him. He can hardly help it if he's "creatively challenged."
