I flew back from San Francisco on Thursday, didnt sleep on the overnight flight, landed, drove straight home to beat the snow and then got up at 3.30 am to hike into the moor. By the time I had gone to bed on saturday I had been up 36 hours and slept 4! At least I was rewarded!
Whoa! That's gorgeous!
Just wonderful. Nice one Alex!
love the light and the snow on the trees, the lines and patterns are also really nice
Like it!! I had no idea you guys get so much snow.
ha we really dont. I havent seen snow like this all my life prior to last year. Last year and this year we have had big snowfalls (by UK standards)
very nice, would make a great local postcard.
I've certainkly thought about selling custom greetings cards, but there's no money in postcards!
Stunning, nice to see you back
That's a very interesting landscape, it almost looks like the land is folding in on itself. Surreal.
Oh my I thought you had returned from California a few weeks ago! Well congrats on the lovely shot, I'm sure you'll be sleeping like the dead for a whole day lol but at least you wont sleep thru Christmas... I hope. lol
Very nice light spreading across the landscape, and I like the subtle mist near the top right of the image. Focus/sharpening looks a tad soft in the final result though.
Totally worth the effort, awesome shot.
What a Beauty! Much rewarded. Great one.
You're a bit crazy but it is a beautiful photo.
what a great view .. well done mate
Glad to hear you made it in.
That's some wonderful soft light you got there! Lovely shot.
Dedication says a lot for a photographer. You capture incredible scenes like this because you are dedicated. This is a wow photograph, congratulations.
Yeah, I didnt feel great afterwards Actually it was quite nice making my way along the main road treading on fresh snow knowing full well that when I got to the location I would be totally alone!
great shot and wow, 36 hours of NO SLEEP. I would of been walking like a zombie. lol.
Wow.... amazing shot!!
Wonderful Alex. Did you shot this with your old 5D?
