Twenty minutes before sunrise the blue glow of twilight gave form to the stunning patterns of snow formed by the wind. The easterly wind had produced easterly facing contours in the snow, with the sun rising in the same direction the light could not have been more perfect. This shot was taken about 20 meters from our campsite at Caseg Fraith. Tryfan can be seen in the background.
