Burrator Overlook by Alex37 Burrator Overlook by Alex37
Before I get over my head with all the recent popularity surrounding some of my images of late, I thought I would just get back to posting images I like, even if they arent necessarily crowd pleasers

This shot was taken on the same morning as [link] , slightly before in fact, and was the shot I had planned the evening before. The conditions werent quite the ones I had dreamed for, but I am still pleased with the shot upon reflection

When I browse through your gallery it seems like UK is full of beautiful views and stunning landscapes.. I guess I missed them all when I just visited London :DD

This picture is awesome, I love it! :+fav:

Well it is, particularly around the national parks. London is not a good place to visit if you want to know what England is like but it is an exciting city. Thanks :)

For some reason my first thought was how much fun it would be to climb those rocks. They're very well lit, incidentally.

That was my first thought too, it always is, so I climb them, have a look at the veiw, and then find my shot :)

Very calm rendition, the tones of the lanscape in the background are fine. Maybe the image is not that exciting as you say, still it is pleasant.
An image doesn't need to be catchy...

Its very nice when our photos reach certain levels of popularity, but then we do feel the pressure to persist in providing just those sorts of shots. Its hard to stop. I'm pleased you are being stubborn about what YOU like!

And its still a great shot!
