I was up at 4 am with 4 1/2 hours of perfect sleep on a great nights camp up on Dartmoor in still conditions.
If anyone is wondering about the composition there was a certain difficulty with trying to shoot at 200mm (to get the moon as big as possible) and including a foreground. In the end I was limited where I could stand by the rock stacks on the hillside. Nevertheless I am happy with the image, even if I can see lots of room for improvement. The foreground is lit by early dawn light
nice work mate and great crop. I know how hard it is when shooting telephoto landscapes to include somthing in the sky as well as foreground interest! Especially at the 400mm end!
