This is probably my favourite beach in Cornwall. It's only acessible at low tide down a massive flight of slightly precarious steps, so you totally avoid the sunbathers and the bucket and spade brigade, which is great. The surroundings are obviously also pretty spectacular.
I took my girlfriend to the coast and we spent the afternoon bodyboarding on glassy 4-5ft aves and then had a barbeque. Of course my primary reason for going to the coast was photography and I got my 'thrift at sunset' shot that I had been thinking of for a while!
