This is another retake, here is the original,: [link] . I knew that in the right light this scene would be good, but I hadnt envisaged this.

The sun is lighting the plains bleow and to the sides but not the foreground which creates the contrast.

Processing consists of exposure blending to hold back the sky and brightening the foreground grass.

EDIT: I have now reduced the saturation just slightly. You can also download the PSD f this image here, if you are interested in how the processing was done.

I would have to say it's brilliant too as I can't think of anything I'd change. I'm not an expert because I usually just do sunstars when the sun is showing but is the sun slightly blown in this? I don't think it matters if it is because the yellow fades into the middle nicely, I just want to be able to differentiate between what is blown and what isn’t.
