Home for the night at 800m, not far below Snowdon's summit, which was the morning's task. Our walk up to this point was shrouded in mist and, in sub zero temperatures, it coated the grasses in a fine white ice. We actually didnt bring enough water with us, so we cooked our dinner in water from the pool!
I've only ever climbed Snowdon in the spring/summer. Would love to be up there in this sort of weather - except I'd get cold, and would never manage to photograph it half as well as you do, so perhaps I'm better off staying at home and looking at your fabulous pictures instead.
Thanks thats very kind, I actually quite like hiking in the cold though, as long as it's dry it can be very pleasant, you just need a down jacket for when you stop!
